CUT’s main field activity remains the needle exchange (NEP) program. We have launched the first NEP in 2006. In 2009 after the opening of our premises, we started opening more NEP sites.

Harm Reduction Community Container
The Community Container was launched as a pilot phase in 2011 with a team of 6 people, including a Health care Assistant. A cargo-type Container has been refurbished and placed in the community, next to our Needle Exchange Site in Baie du Tombeau.

Our Medical Caravan
Like our community container, our medical caravan aims at providing a needle exchange program, along with a primary care service for users of the Needle Exchange Program, which encompromises listening, referal or accompanying the user to other services.
